GPS Based Attendance for Lecture and Practicals
This project aims to develop a GPS-based attendance system for in-person lectures. The primary objective is to
automate the attendance-taking process, leveraging GPS technology to accurately verify and record students'
presence in the classroom. This system offers real-time monitoring, enhanced accuracy, and efficiency in attendance
management. Automating attendance tracking allows faculty to reclaim valuable time that can be dedicated to
delivering curriculum, rather than being consumed by the manual task of recording student attendance. It also
addresses privacy concerns and provides valuable data insights for educational institutions, ultimately improving the
overall attendance tracking experience for both educators and students.
The project aims to significantly reduce the administrative burden associated with manual attendance taking, enhance
attendance accuracy, and provide valuable data-driven insights for educators. It also ensures privacy compliance and
offers a user-friendly experience for both instructors and students.
